The Royal Route
The Royal Route- the main route of Krakow for centuries. It starts in the nothern part of the city at St.Florian's Church, across Matejko Square to St.Florian's Gate and farther on along Florianska street to the Main Market Square, down Grodzka and Kanonicza street to Wawel Hill. Along this way royal weedings and funerals of polish king and their court took place and kings of Europe convened which resulted in an increasing properity of the city.
During this walk you will see the most important places in old town included: St.Peter and st.Paul's baroque church, st.Andrew roman church, Main Market Square- the largest market square in Europe with Basilica of St.Mary, St.Adalbert Church, Cloth Hall, Town Hall Tower, many beautiful town hoses and moniuments … and finaly Wawel Hill with Wawel Cathedral and Royal Castle.
Maybe our walk will be long, but you won't be tired if you feel the speciale atmosphere of Krakow:)
