University Quarter
University Quarter- old Jewish Quarter which became a University Quarter in the begining of XV century thanks to polish king-St.Jadwiga's will who gave all her jewelery for Krakow University development.
During our walk you can see:
- Collegium Maius-the oldest building of Jagiellonian University with beautiful arcaded cortyard,Unversity Traesury and Old Libraria.
- Collegium Novum-the most important University bulding-seat of University Senat and Rector.
- Planty Park- replacing Old City Walls with moniumets and other University buildings.
- Church of St.Anna-the most beautiful baroque church in Krakow with decoration of italian architect Baltazar Fontana, place where relicts of Saint John of Kanty are kept.
